“The Wide World, the Long Falling Sky” is an album by Nicholas Miller, Nate Baker, Braun Khan, and Danny Gottlieb featuring guest vocalists and guitarists.
It is the result of a research grant from the Caine School of the Arts, and the songs grew out of time spent exploring the historic sheet music held in Utah State University’s Fife Folklore Archive. It looks at the folk music of Utah and comments in exploratory arrangements that cast the music in a new light.
