“Hearing in the Intermediate State” captures a solo performance by myself for electric guitar, pedals, found sounds, and laptop.

It is inspired by the Tibetan Buddhist image of the Bhavacakra, which shows six different realms of the Buddhist cosmos held in the jaws of Yama, the lord of death.
